Responsable Financer/a Adjunt (Ref: MGMT 2025-01)

L'Institut Català d’Investigació Química (ICIQ) busca un Responsable Financer/a Adjunt.

L’ICIQ és una de les principals institucions del món reconegudes internacionalment en el camp de la química compromesa amb la resolució de grans reptes socials i econòmics mitjançant la realització d'investigació de màxima qualitat en tres àrees principals: Catàlisi Sostenible, Energia Renovable i Salut. L'institut també té com a objectiu formar la futura generació de científics oferint programes educatius d'alta qualitat a estudiants de màster, doctorands i investigadors postdoctorals (Tots els detalls a http://www.iciq.org/).

L'ICIQ busca un Responsable Financer/a Adjunt. El/La Responsable Financer/a Adjunt serà responsable de desenvolupar i implementar l’automatització i digitalització dels diferents processos administratius que es duen a terme a la Fundació. També donarà suport al departament financer en la elaboració dels diferents reports i auditories necessàries per a la correcta gestió de la Entitat.

Responsabilitats:

• Liderar, coordinar, desenvolupar i implementar l’automatització i digitalització dels diferents processos administratius.
• Liderar la millora de l’eficiència dels circuits administratius i promoure l’optimització dels mateixos.
• Incentivar la transformació digital, dissenyar l´automatització de tasques rutinàries amb RPA (Robotic Process Automation).
• Preparar regularment els informes Financers que li siguin encomanats
• Atendre les auditories econòmiques
• Millorar el circuit de tasques entre les diferents unitats de que conformen l’organigrama de l’ICIQ
• Auditar les Matrius de tasques i quantificar la càrrega de treball.

Requisits Mínims:

• Llicenciat en ADE o equivalent.
• Coneixements d’entorns ERP o similar
• Coneixements en Comptabilitat Pública
• Coneixements en Fiscalitat, IVA, IRPF, No Residents, Intrastat, Intracomunitari, en especial consideració a l’IVA en recerca i en operacions internacionals.
• Coneixements avançats en Excel i resta de aplicacions del Microsoft 365 Teams, One note, Sharepoint.
• Habilitats en el anglès de conversa

Qualitats valorades:

• Experiència en Fundació del Sector Públic especialment dedicada a la Recerca i Innovació o en Administració Pública.
• Habilitat en conducció de grups de millora, i treballar en equip de forma transversal.
• Habilitat per motivar equips i per incentivar millores de processos.
• Experiència en digitalitzar i establir processos eficients.
• Iniciativa per a la resolució de problemes.
• Habilitat per incorporar les noves tecnologies per impulsar el canvi i la millora en l’eficiència, reduint les tasques repetitives i creant valor afegit.
• Habilitat per millorar la comunicació entre els diferents departaments, aportant valor per a optimitzar aquestes comunicacions.
• Pensament crític, analític i innovador

Adjunt Financial Manager (Ref: MGMT 2025-01)

The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking an Adjunct Financial Manager.

ICIQ is one of the world’s internationally recognized leading institutions in the field of chemistry committed to solving major social and economic challenges by conducting top quality research in three main areas: Sustainable Catalysis, Renewable Energy and Health. Responsibilities:

• Lead, coordinate, develop and implement the automation and digitalisation of the different administrative processes.
• To lead the improvement of the efficiency of administrative circuits and to promote their optimisation.
• Encourage digital transformation, design the automation of routine tasks with RPA (Robotic Process Automation).
• Regularly prepare the Financial reports entrusted to it.
• Attend to economic audits.
• To improve the circuit of tasks between the different units that make up the ICIQ organizational chart.
• Audit the Task Matrices and quantify the workload.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ERP environments or similar.
• Knowledge of Public Accounting.
• Knowledge of Taxation, VAT, Personal Income Tax, Non-Residents, Intrastat, Intra-Community, with a special focus on VAT in research and international operations.
• Advanced knowledge in Excel and other applications of Microsoft 365 Teams, One note, Sharepoint.
• Conversational English skills.

Valued qualities:

• Experience in Public Sector Foundations especially dedicated to Research and Innovation or in Public Administration.
• Ability to lead improvement groups, and work in a team in a transversal way.
• Ability to motivate teams and encourage process improvements.
• Experience in digitizing and establishing efficient processes.
• Initiative for problem solving.
• Ability to incorporate new technologies to drive change and improve efficiency, reducing repetitive tasks and creating added value.
• Ability to improve communication between different departments, adding value to optimize these communications.
• Critical, analytical and innovative thinking.

Selection Process

ICIQ’s selection process usually entails the following phases:

• Pre-selection: The pre-selection process will be based on qualifications and expertise as reflected on the candidates’ CVs. This phase is merit-based.
• Interview: Preselected candidates will be interviewed by the Hiring Manager of the position and the appointed Selection Committee.
• Offer Letter: Once the successful candidate is selected, the People Unit will extend a Job Offer, specifying the start day, salary and overall job conditions.
