How do we obtain the personal data which we process?
When we need to obtain information about you, we will always request that you provide it expressly and voluntarily. The data gathered in forms or through other channels and means, will be incorporated in a Registry of Processing Activities, for which ICIQ is responsible. Processing will always be undertaken confidentially and with the sole purpose of offering you the services requested and information about our activities, and for assessing your candidacy regarding employment notices for which you apply, with all the legal and security measures guaranteed under existing legislation.
To which purposes do we process your personal data?
In ICIQ we process the information provided to us by interested parties with the purpose of facilitating the requested services, responding to information requests, undertaking related administrative tasks, undertaking financial and accounting tasks of the services requested, maintaining communication about the aforementioned, such as and including sending emails to keep you informed about our activities in general.
For how long will we keep your data on file?
The data will be kept on file for the time necessary to meet the purpose for which it was gathered and for defining the responsibilities related to this purpose and the processing undertaken.
The data will be kept on file until its elimination is requested, and in any event, during the years required to meet the legal obligations established by existing legislation. In the case of candidates who do not apply for a specific position, the data will be kept on file for a maximum of 1 year if they have not been included in any recruitment process during this period.
What is the legitimacy for processing your data?
The legal basis for processing your data is as follows:
- Execution of a contract: Providing requested services
- Consent given by the interested party: For the subscription to job alerts, for the presentation of candidacies about published job offers and for sending commercial notifications about our activity in general.
- Legitimate interest: The processing is necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by ICIQ, bearing in mind the reasonable expectations of the interested parties in receiving a reply to their application.
Who will receive your data?
Data will not be ceded to third parties, except through legal imperative or when necessary to respond to an application or also when the interested party has given her/his consent. Personal data will also be transferred where necessary to comply with the legal obligations the organisation has with the public administration in accordance with the existing legislation.
Data transfers to third countries?
Data transfers to third countries are not contemplated.

Exercising your rights is free of charge and must include a copy of your DNI or equivalent document accrediting your identity.
If you have given your consent for a specific purpose, you have the right to withdraw the consent given at any moment, without this affecting the legality of the processing based on the consent previous to its withdrawal.
With regards to the notification service, interested parties have the right to withdraw consent at any moment by sending an email to lopd@iciq.es notifying their wish to cease receiving this service.
